PROMPTS FOR FLYING DEEPER

1. What part of you forgets it belongs?
And how does that part behave when it's scared?

2. When have you felt like a wayward cell?
Was it grief? Anger? Exhaustion? Did anyone notice?

3. Who whispers to you when you're quiet enough to listen?
A tree? A child? A version of yourself you thought you’d outgrown?

4. If this story were told by your body, which part would speak first?
And what might it say?

5. What does “repair” taste like in your mouth today?
Sweet? Salty? Bitter? Dry as denial?

EXERCISES FOR THE ENTANGLED

Listen With Your Skin:
Lay down on the ground outside if possible.
Let your back go soft.
Say aloud:

“I forgot I was part of this. Please help to remember and re-attune, gently or not.”

Notice what or who answers.

Rewrite the Story (Four Ways):

Choose one page or moment in The Wayward Cell and the Cosmic Bird
Now, tell it again from:

  • The wind’s perspective

  • A cell who refused to rejoin

  • A grumpy leaf watching it all

  • Someone who doesn’t speak any language at all

The Spell-breaking Walk:

Take a slow walk as if everything you see is trying to wake you from a dream.
Stop when something calls you—not because it's useful, but because it feels... familiar.
Sit. Ask it, without words:

“What have I been pretending not to know?”
