Invitation 1: You Are Also All That You Perceive
A Somatic Ritual for Wayward Cells Drenched in Distress and Wonder
Opening Whisper (or Side-Eye Affirmation):
“I am not the main character in a human life story. I am a twitchy little cell in Earth’s unfathomable body.”
Step 1: Shrink and Sense
Allow yourself to be fully held by the gentle, persistent field of Earth’s gravity.
Imagine riding a blood cell through a body in distress. Take a minute or two to really envision or sense into the possible perceptions of such a journey.
The lungs wheeze, the arteries clog, the liver rants softly to itself.
But the cells? They keep going. Not because they’re healed. Because they’re with it.
Not separate. Not waiting to be good enough. Just in rhythm.
You can say, whisper, muse to yourself:
“I am also the phlegm. I am also the pulse.”
Step 2: Expand Without Disconnecting
Now, sensing back into your usual size, take a chance to sense your own body. Wiggle. Flop. Come home to yourself in whatever way feels right..
You’re still a tiny speck inside a body. Not “your” body, but in Earth’s body.
You are not quite a “cell.” But neither are you a separate self. What would it be like to consider yourself a “celf?”
You’re the clickbait and the moss. The military drone and the dandelion.
And you’re late for nothing.
Step 3: Move With It
Stretch. Blink. Stomp. Shake out, or dance with, any tension or doubts in your muscles
Move not to fix. Move to remember you’re already moving with everything.
Reminder Whispers:
You don’t need to feel separate to feel real.
Fear isn’t the enemy. Just don’t let it DJ the whole party.
You’re not responsible for everything, but you do engage with a lot of other beings constantly.
Engage with them well.
Questions for Re-Entangling Yourself / Your celf:
Who are you performing as today—and who are they protecting?
What if your education was mostly misdirection?
Where does your “self” get in the way of your “celf”?
