Breathe Like a Spiral (Because You Are One)
A Ritual for Sensing Nonseparation Across Time

Step 1: Forget the Line
Time isn’t a straight road. It’s a coiled snake eating its own tail while whispering your grandmother’s name.
This moment isn’t just now. It’s every moment spiraling in, trying to be felt.

Step 2: Meet Yourself in Other Times
Record your breath. Play it back. Breathe with it.
That’s not a past you. That’s you-now-with-you-then.
You’re not remembering. You’re echoing.

Step 3: Breathe with Someone Who Isn’t Here
Pick a person. Any person. One you love. Or one that makes your ego flinch.
Now breathe like you’ve always shared air. Because you have.
Even if your bus gets noisy—come back to the shared atmosphere.

Step 4: Breathe with Ancestors You Can’t Picture
Lie down. Imagine your great-grandparents breathing.
Even if you don’t know their names. Even if their choices are complicated.
Breathe together like your lungs were stitched from the same weather.

Step 5: Breathe with More-Than-Human Kin
A tree. A mushroom. A wolf. A river.
You don’t need to know their pronouns. Just their presence.
Breathe with them as if your aliveness is co-authored. Because it is.

Step 6: Breathe with the Whole Damn Planet
Envision the Earth breathing you. Because it is.
This planet’s been exhaling for eons.
Your anxieties are welcome to dissolve in that breath.

 Closing Whisper:
You’re not on a timeline.
You are the spiral.
The breath is not a tool. It’s a dance, a remembering, a flowing integration, a pulsing embrace of Earth and Sky,
